I have been on sick puppy dog patrol for a while now. Which in my book is #1 on my priority list. This is Baby Pearl, she's on the mend, and hopes you will forgive her for stealing all of my time. 😊
I'm still here! Lol!

These won't make you cry when you slice or dice them. I even carved the little cutting boards. My new dremmel (sp?) and files are so handy!!
i haven't stopped making minis. I have been super busy with custom orders which have been so fun to make!
But the the lack of updates and video tutorials was due to me being consumed with caring for and the ultimate loss of my best friend and buddy, Rudy. My #1 girl got cancer and passed within 2 months and that was all my world has been about. But... slowly my husband and I (as well as our other two furry buds) are digging ourselves out of the horrible and sad place. And now it is time for getting back to LIFE! Because that's what my "Tiny Tam" would have wanted. She was always at my feet when I worked. Very strange without her. Honestly, it's the worst experience of my life, to lose my little bff. Just a little note, so that people know I didn't drop off the planet. Just have been dedicated to family and self-care. But now it is time to get back to it!! 😊👍🏻 I don't like to waste any clay if I can help it. I've ended up with some very colorful and fun canes because of that. Veggies, fruit, and interesting color combos make for some beautiful and unplanned cane landscapes.
In my artwork, all along the years, there has been a miniature element to it. In scale, design, or in parts as added features. But the last year I have dedicated to honing my craft and perfecting my skill. I will have to post some of my earliest work just to show you how drastically I have improved. I have had those great a-ha! moments where suddenly a technique makes sense and makes all of the difference. I have two huge huge shows and a feature in DollHouse Miniatures Magazine within the next 4 months. I am so over-the-Moon thrilled. Thanks to everyone who visits my site and takes the time to look at my work! I appreciate it so much. Below are images of EVERY item I have made this year. The table is 6' x 2'.5" just to give you a bit of perspective. Additionally, there are over 400 individual pieces. These are so darn cute. I enjoyed making them very much. They are lovely individually or as a part of any scene where you need that POP!
Finishing touches! Getting ready for #CIMTA #polymerclay #miniatures #miniaturefood #wildhareminiatures I have been so incredibly busy! Between the holidays and my beloved oldest dog having health issues, I had to take a few days off from miniature making. To put it mildly, I am now on overload.
Believe me, I am not complaining! It's a wonderful "problem" to have. :) CIMTA will be happening in four weeks and I hope to have many wonderful pieces for people to see. Three weeks of work, well worth it. #polymer #miniature #salads www.wildhareminiatures.com How-To Tutorial coming soon to my YouTube channel!
So satisfying these #miniature #polymer #strawberries #WildHareMiniatures
Now I just need to perfect my canes. Mini pies! ,The insides.
Tutorial to follow soon! I have been so immersed in working lately that I haven't edited any footage. There will be tutorial on Pies, Fresh Figs, and "scrap clay transformations" very soon. I just have to put the clay down and edit them!! I don't know about you, but the last week, and the last several weeks, given the race and outcome of the election, I have been on absolute lockdown...
My mind needs peace and luckily, I have such a great interest in art, it helps tremendously. I am stocking up for two big shows coming up. I will have tables at both the CIMTA Show and Tom Bishop International! Here are just a few items I am working on. I've been busy over the last few days creating a ton of miniature red meats. It's been a lot of fun and though there is still more to do, I never get tired of sculpting beautiful food.
I am taking a break from dioramas and am getting back to more food and accessory minis. I made a few silicone molds and went bundt cake crazy.
